Chris Hayes, Editor
Chris Hayes, Editor, graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in journalism, where his focus on online media and web design led to work with UF’s Newszine and The Independent Florida Alligator. Since returning to Palm Beach Gardens, he has taken great strides to involve himself in community events and learn more about the local organizations that make South Florida so unique.
After joining the PBG Lifestyle staff as an Associate Editor in November 2008, Hayes was promoted to Editor several months later, and has since played an integral role in the editorial content and aesthetic components of each issue. He has also provided assistance by managing the magazine’s Web site and recording monthly radio ads on Seaview Radio (960 AM/95.9 FM).
Hayes hopes to one day run his own pop culture Web site, assessing today’s media, sharing lesser-known forms of entertainment and producing a variety of original content. He has been a South Floridian for over a decade and could not imagine a more perfect place to call home.
