In its 7th year, the Palm Beach Gardens Police Foundation Golf Tournament is a fun filled event for golfers at all levels of play – and benefits our Police Explorers and other Youth programs.
The event starts on Friday, October 10th at 6 p.m. with a complimentary wine and appetizer reception at Talay Thai Restaurant, 7100 Fairway Drive in Palm Beach Gardens, prepared by Executive Chef and Owner, Charlie Soo. On Saturday, October 11th, registration and breakfast begin at 7:00 am in the Grand Ballroom of the PGA National Resort and continues on to a Bagpipe start at 8:30 a.m. The scramble tournament will be played on two PGA Resort courses: the Palmer Course and the more challenging Champion Course which just this summer finished some unique renovations and is where the PGA TOUR’s Honda Classic has been contested for the past 8 years – and is booked through the year 2016.
Immediately after play, a sumptuous lunch will be served in the Grand Ballroom and there will be numerous contests and awards for winning teams, including a car for a hole-in-one donated by Braman Motorcars, gifts for participants, raffles and auctions. LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Maria Marino will be on hand for this special event.
The proceeds of this tournament will benefit local youth programs including the Palm Beach Gardens Police Explorer Post which builds character, self esteem, leadership and teaches citizenship skills to local youth.
