Spady Cultural Heritage Museum to Host Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast

The Spady Cultural Heritage Museum is hosting its annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast on Monday, January 16 at 8 a.m. Celebrating the life and accomplishments of Dr. King, the event will be held at the Delray Beach Golf Club, 2200 Highland Ave.
This year’s program at the Spady Museum’s annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast will include:
+ A delicious breakfast buffet
+ A special presentation by Jack and Jill of America, Inc., a social welfare nonprofit organization that is headquartered in Boca Raton
+ A musical performance of Negro Spirituals by the Pasco Baker Concert Choir
+ Readings by the student winners of the annual High School Poetry Contest conducted by the Palm Beach Poetry Festival
The public is invited to come and share the celebration of Dr. King. The cost to attend is only $20 for adults and $10 for children.

Now on Display at the Spady Cultural Heritage Museum:
Scenes from Africa: Photographs by Samuel Spear, Jr. Nearly two-dozen colorful photographs that Mr. Spear took during trips to various locations in West Africa like Senegal, Ghana, as far as Timbuktu. This exhibition will run at the Spady through February.
