The 41st Stuart Boat Show returns Friday, January 9th to celebrate the boating lifestyle with a three-day event along the waterfront.
Situated along three marinas and spanning a quarter of a mile on land, the Stuart Boat Show offers a wide array of boats that will leave every boat lover satisfied. Show producer and AllSports Productions owner, Skip Allen, Jr., says, “we are expecting over 180 local, national and international exhibitors at this year’s show with hundreds of boats in-water and on land.” Many boat brands will be represented at the show, including the latest models of motor yachts, cruisers, trawlers, skiffs, speedboats, sport fishing boats, and pontoons. Boats ranging in size from 12 feet to over 80 feet in length and priced from thousands to millions of dollars will be on display for all to see and board. Visitors also will be able to check out the latest in personal watercraft, marine electronics, outboard and inboard engines, boating equipment and accessories, boat lifts, fishing gear, nautical clothing and jewelry, as well as financing and insurance companies.
Allen was happy to announce the return of the “Hook the Future Kid’s Fishing Clinic” with two seminars on Saturday and two on Sunday. Capt. Don is the host of the event, which is aimed at teaching kids and their parents about fishing, water safety and more. The first 50 kids at each seminar will receive a FREE rod and reel.
There will be multiple enter-to-win drawings for the adults as well. Marine artist, Carey Chen, is donating a masterpiece painting again this year. Enter to win a luxurious island weekend stay at a Bahamas resort. Combined with live music, festive island food and drinks the Stuart Boat Show is a great place for a family to spend their day!
The show runs January 9, 10 and 11and is located along the scenic St. Lucie River and SR 707/Old Dixie Highway at the foot of the Roosevelt Bridge.
Show hours are Friday, January 9th and Saturday, January 10th, 2015 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, January 11th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. General admission is $12.00 for adults, $10 for seniors and veterans and $5 for children under 12 years old. Free parking with water taxi and shuttle service is available throughout the downtown area.
