Alicia Donelan, Staff Photographer, is a professional photographer originally from Dallas, Texas. She has been involved in photography since she was a teenager and has travelled extensively photographing people from around the world in China, Australia, Europe and Russia to right here in our own backyard.
While living as a freelance photographer in New York, she studied under such artists as Robert Capa, Duane Michals, Hans Neleman, Andrian Piper and Mary Ellen Mark along with noted art critics and historians.
Alicia’s specialty is people.
“I love to hear people’s story and capture it in still images”, she says. “I find that my contact with people in their environment has a profound impact on me and the images I create.”
Alicia received a bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She received her Master’s Degree in photography from New York University in conjunction with the International Center of Photography. Alicia lives and works in South Florida as a Wedding and Lifestyle Portrait photographer.
