PBG Lifestyle Magazine received Best of Category award at the 23rd annual Florida Print Awards, the printing industry’s largest and most prestigious statewide graphic arts competition. The Printing Association of Florida (PAF) presented the awards to elite Florida-based printing, graphic arts companies and schools during a banquet on August 6, 2010 at the Loews Royal Pacific at Universal Orlando.
With almost 700 entries from printing and graphic firms across the state, PBG Lifestyle Magazine received the following awards:
Best of Category –Volume 2, Number 6, November A&E coverage, for PBG Lifestyle Magazine.
“We are very proud of our entire team,” said Ronald W. Werner, CEO. “We already knew our employees were some of the best in the business. Winning this award is a tremendous honor for everyone here.”
George Ryan, president and CEO of PAF, agrees. “Year after year, the quality of the submissions for the Florida Print Awards increases, raising the standard to which they are held. It seems like we say this every year, but the judges remarked how they were, once again, impressed with the entries submitted by PAF members and also said this year’s competition was the toughest yet. PBG Lifestyle Magazine should be very proud of their outstanding accomplishments.”
The Florida Print Awards recognize individuals, companies and organizations responsible for the creation or production of print communications. The competition promotes excellence in the industry and recognizes companies and individuals who produce the best in print media.
PAF, host of the Florida Print Awards, is the state’s largest graphic arts trade association, representing an industry with more than 77,600 employees and $9.9 billion in sales.
PBG Lifestyle Magazine ventured into the Palm Beach Gardens marketplace in the summer of 2008 with a vision to produce a quality, upscale publication that reflected the Palm Beach Gardens area, its residents and businesses. As they enter their third year of publication, circulation has grown by 50% and covers entertainment and lifestyle events from the Palm Beaches, Wellington to Stuart.
