Salt – sweet!

Imagine traveling across the globe to Eastern Europe, where researchers have been introducing Halotherapy to the public. You walk into the walls of a salt room, make yourself at home and relax. Rejuvenating. Healing. Effective.

Don’t be discouraged in thinking that you need to make a Eurotrip to familiarize yourself with this practice. Halotheraphy is now coming to you, South Florida! Introducing its first state-of-the-art facility in Delray Beach, The Salt Suite is bringing you a natural alternative to relieve symptoms of stress, asthma, infections and much more.

What exactly is Halotheraphy, you ask? In a nutshell, it’s a form of therapy that utilizes halite, or salt. These salt “rooms” are donned with a halo generator that replicates the atmosphere of a salt mine, grinding up salt particles and releasing them into the air. This form of healing has been related to the healing of respiratory diseases and cystic fibrosis.

The 2,000-square-foot Salt Suite includes three treatment rooms. They offer a yoga room and an adult room with zero-gravity chairs. Have kids? Bring them too! The Salt Suite has a room for children as well. Stocked with toys, your child will be having fun without even knowing that they are truly benefitting from this healing hub.

A few words to the wise while you’re preparing for your treatments:

  • Make sure to wash your hands before the treatment begins.
  • Arrive early. Once the doors are closed, they’re closed!
  • Relax and enjoy your experience.

A normal session costs $45, but you can always save money by purchasing more sessions at a time. Purchasing five will save you $5 a session and purchasing 30 will save $15 a session! Come check out their yoga classes as well; Salt Suite offers different schedules depending on your goals, offered at different times to fit your busy schedules.

If you’re skeptical, but still want to see what all the buzz is about, then don’t fret, because your first visit is on them! If you want to know more about this modern day healing mecca, visit www.thesaltsuite.com, e-mail info@thesaltsuite.com or call (561) 316-SALT (7258).
